Selmer Mark VI Baritone Silver (1962)
Silver Plated, 1962 the infamous sought after 5 digit series. Plating fully intact on body, some slight plating wear on keys. Previously owned and played professionally in France, fully overhauled and re-padded in the UK and currently owned and cared for by our London store manager, Adrian.
Excellent intonation, fruity full-bodied sound throughout.
Supplied with: Brown Selmer hard case in very good condition offering excellent protection. No mouthpiece

Selmer Balanced Action Alto Silver (1939)
Very responsive in higher register with a solid sound and strong tone throughout the extremes of the instrument.

This is the sax that revolutionised the design of the saxophone. The bell keys were moved to the right side of the bell and the left hand pinkie table re-designed. In 1935 Selmer Claimed: “Now you can play just as fast in the extreme lower register as you can in any other part of the scale”

This is a lovely example of a vintage Selmer.
