A really well-kept specimen of the world's favourite saxophone, the Selmer Mark VI
This tenor from 1964 is a joy to play. All the hallmarks of a great Mk VI sound are there, a very strong tonal core that can be colorful even when whisper quiet or projecting at full blast. The key action is perfectly balanced, not too heavy or soft, very easy to play fast passages, and it feels perfect under the fingers. This horn been played a lot by judging the amount of lacquer wear and has that nice vintage look. One of the nicest Mark VI tenor that we had in a while.
