Description
A Punchy 'Do It All' Baritone Mouthpiece From Aaron Drake
Featuring an innovative chamber design, these mouthpieces will give the projection and “punch” that you are looking for. The medium reverse taper/venturi chamber is ideal for massive projection, while still maintaining depth and balance in the overtone series. Each of the mouthpieces features the same chamber design with variation in the baffle angle and floor slope to meet the exact tonal preference of the player and the type of Baritone they are using.
The Crossover II features a lower Baffle Angle than the Crossover 1, allowing for a fuller, more rounded sound. As a result, you will find that these designs are well suited for everything from the Big Band setting to Funk, R&B and Jazz.

"The manufacturer's blurb describes this one as 'punchy' and really there is no other way to describe this piece! There's plenty of drive and power on hand and at the same time that typical depth of tone available from all Drake mouthpieces. Great for soul/funk use!" Jim@sax.co.uk
