A beautiful saxophone from one of the best manufacturers!
This 1948 Selmer Super Balanced Action arrived to our store in perfect condition, and plays spectacularly well. It has all the distinctive features you would expect from an SBA, with a strong tonal core creating an immersive and colourful tone through the entirety of the instrument. It also has an incredibly extravagant engraving, quite rare for SBA's. This sax has a particularly dark sound that really opens up towards the top of the register.
The horn plays really well with a classic Selmer resistance which gives it the timeless sound and response, which you can expect through the whole range. It has a very smooth key action with comfortable positions, all the way up to it's top F. Comes with a previous 900 series Yanagisawa case.

Orders in stock and received before 2pm are normally shipped the same day. International orders are generally received in under 7 days.
RETURNS
Goods purchased online from www.sax.co.uk can be returned within 14 days of receipt. This does not apply to custom ordered goods, products where hygiene is concerned and product seals have been broken (reeds, mouthpieces etc), digital download codes or software licences. Goods purchased through our website cannot be returned to our retail stores.
