For those seeking a saxophone with true soul, this King Super 20 boasts incredible character and the celebrated "punch" that made these models so sought after. Our technicians have given it a thorough service, ensuring it's in great working order and plays flawlessly from top to bottom. It produces a massive, bold sound that instantly evokes a bygone era, with a rich tone that modern horns simply can't reproduce. While the lacquer exhibits expected signs of its age, this doesn't detract from its overall appeal. These are genuinely rare and individual instruments, making this one truly worth exploring.
The King Super 20 is one of the classic American altos, known for its big sound and strong projection. This sax is in good condition for its age and plays really well, with pearl key touches on the main stack, palm, side, and table keys (that look awesome!)
It has the lively, colourful sound Super 20s are loved for — powerful when pushed, but still warm and flexible. A great vintage alto with loads of character.
Comes with it's origenal case.
