The Mindi Abair 2 boasts cutting-edge technology, introducing a Swept-Step™ baffle, elliptical window, and a Small-Stadium-Chamber design. The duck-bill beak remains comfortably familiar, but the body has been subtly enlarged to produce a thicker sound while accommodating all Theo Wanne alto ligatures. "This mouthpiece really captures the shrill brightness of Mindi Abair's sound. It has a very steep baffle which makes it very free blowing and lets you play as loud as you need to cut through the rest of the band. This mouthpiece is also extremely responsive and works very efficiently to make playing as easy as possible. Compared to the other Theo Wanne pieces, this one is definitely one of the brightest in the lineup.
