Description
The Yamaha Alto Venova is a fun, lightweight and durable wind instrument, ideal for the travelling musician or players who want something fun to play at home or on the go.
A lot of attention has gone into creating this instrument, from the odd looking "branched pipe" (integral to the tone according to Yamaha) through to a system which allows the Venova to operate either using German system recorder fingering or standard Boehm. It has a full two-octave range and maintains its tone well even on the top notes.
The sound of these horns is far more impressive than we’d anticipated - big and cleaner responding than the vast majority of instruments of this sort.
Key work is nice and smooth throughout and, all in all, it’s enormous fun to play.

Use of “branched pipe”
With a "branched pipe" added to the cylindrical bore, the tone of a conical bore instrument (e.g., saxophone) is achieved in compact size.

Meandering pipe
A meandering pipe is used to shrink the distance between tone holes for a simplified structure to minimize the use of keys.
Easy fingering similar to recorders that is easy to play even for those who are new to wind instruments.

The body made with ABS resin is durable and washable with water.
With a Durable resin reed and synthetic pads (for key parts), cleaning is easy.
Two-piece body
The upper and lower sections of the body can be separated for easy cleaning.
Easy to start
In addition to the owner’s manual, the “Let’s Play Venova!” guidebook includes tips on posture, sound production, and controlling pitch and tone. It also contains sample songs.Even those who are completely new to wind instruments can have fun while learning.

RETURNS
Goods purchased online from www.sax.co.uk can be returned within 14 days of receipt. This does not apply to custom ordered goods, products where hygiene is concerned and product seals have been broken (reeds, mouthpieces etc), digital download codes or software licences.
