Top-Down design
An important point to note here is that Eastman build their intermediate instruments based on the top-level design aspects of their professional models; this means we have the same bore design and key layout in the EAS453 model as we do the flagship 52nd Street design. This allows the sax to deliver top-tier intonation and tonal quality worthy of professional saxophones.

Staff Review
This alto is very representative of the Eastman sound that we know from their 52nd Street models, full-bodied and well-defined, but at a fraction of the cost in this intermediate model. The response is fantastic and the key work is solid and well-positioned. For the price, this horn represents real value for money!
