The 67R combines vintage-inspired design with a cognac lacquer finish. A full, dark tone makes this a versatile option for jazz, blues, and electric styles. It features drawn & rolled tone holes allowing better resonance and an enlarged bell to compliment an already warm, fat sound.
Description
The Mauriat 67R combines a full, warm tone with a versatile response. This Custom Class "Vintage Series" alto features a cognac lacquer finish, rolled tone holes, beautiful abalone shell key touches and high F# key. The larger bell contributes to a full-bodied, powerful tone. It is rare to find rolled tone holes on a modern sax and these give a noticeably quieter key action and extended pad life.
