Ellie Sax is one of the world’s most exciting live saxophonists, known for bringing feel-good dance energy, powerful live performance and unmistakable saxophone sound to stages across the globe.

Blending classical training with a love of house, dance and electronic music, Ellie has created a signature style that transforms every performance into a celebration. From festival stages and iconic club nights to exclusive private events and international parties, Ellie’s sound is instantly recognisable: vibrant, euphoric and built for the dancefloor.

Born and brought up in Halifax, Ellie began her musical journey at a young age before going on to study saxophone at the Royal Northern College of Music. While her training gave her the technical foundation, her passion for dance music shaped the performer she is today — an artist who bridges musicianship, club culture and high-energy live entertainment.
