Much like its cousins across the saxophone range, the AMBIKA 3 HR soprano mouthpiece is the darkest within the Theo Wanne Tenor range. Through decades of research, Theo has perfected the large chamber for soprano mouthpieces. Allowing for a tone that resembles those 1940's mouthpieces, but with enough projection and dynamic range to suit a modern repertoire.
The AMBIKA 3 gives players a full-bodied, almost haunting and ethereal tone, whilst having the capabilities to be pushed and match modern musical expressionism.
